Dr. Katie Stembler
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Stembler grew up in Atlanta Georgia and graduated with honors from UCSB with a BS in aquatic biology. She earned her DVM from the University of Georgia. Dr. Stembler moved to DC to enjoy life in the “big city” and to be near her sisters who live in the area. She is particularly interested in soft tissue surgery and internal medicine and strives to practice “integrative medicine.” Dr. Stembler is nearing completion of a series of continuing education courses to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and Certified Food Therapist. She believes that there is not one best medicine; and optimal clinical results are often achieved through the integration of the wisdom of multiple medical traditions. In her free time she enjoys running, art, travel, and hanging out with her growing family of nieces and nephews.
Feel free to give us a call or make an appointment to learn more about the benefits of integrative medicine for your furry friend! |
